Project Overview

The New Age Festival is a multi-day music experience celebrating electronic and indie music. The goal was to create a bold, visually exciting landing page that captures the spirit of the event while making it easy for users to learn more, browse artist lineups, and purchase tickets seamlessly.

Goals

  • Create a high-impact visual presence for the music festival

  • Highlight event dates, location, lineup, and ticket tiers

  • Make ticket purchasing intuitive and fast

  • Use bold fonts and a clean layout to keep things modern and energetic

  • Ensure responsive behavior across devices

The visual identity leans on a white and green color scheme — crisp and fresh — with pops of neon green for CTAs and accents to convey an electric festival vibe. Bold sans-serif fonts provide impact and energy, while oversized visuals of the stage, crowd, and artists immerse users in the atmosphere of the event.

Sections are laid out with generous whitespace and modular grid cards for artists and event details. Subtle micro-interactions (made in Framer) bring the UI to life with hover reveals and slide-ins.

  • Schedule Timeline: Horizontally scrollable visual of day-by-day breakdown

  • Ticketing Module: Easy dropdown selection for tiers, quantity, and payment

  • Location Map: Embedded interactive map with directions

  • FAQ + Contact: Accordion dropdowns and contact form integration

Challenges

We needed to balance festival energy with functional clarity — too much flair could risk confusing the user, so careful attention was paid to visual hierarchy and flow. Green can also be tricky in terms of accessibility, so we ensured contrast and legibility passed WCAG guidelines.

Integrating Framer’s animation system also required optimizing transitions for performance across devices, especially on mobile.

Outcome

The final site is responsive, fast, and visually electric — successfully hyping the New Age Festival while simplifying ticket access. The festival organizers reported a 32% increase in online ticket sales compared to the previous year, and users praised the site’s ease of use and immersive visuals.

The landing page perfectly captures the pulse of the event — clean, exciting, and effortlessly cool.
